TorkMag’s dual spring, balanced torque system and self-leveling follower actively equalizes force on the nose and tail of loaded rounds, preventing the bolt-over-base and bullet nose diving malfunctions that have plagued large magazines.
Because their workload is shared, both springs can be scaled down without sacrificing optimum resistance and reliability. The springs’ reduced footprint beneath the follower allows our design to be highly space efficient.
Follower is also self-lubricating and self-cleaning. No-Slip Grip Bars on front and rear walls.
Successfully tested without any modification: 5.56x45mm/.223 Rem, .300 Blackout, .458 SOCOM, .50 Beowulf and .450 Bushmaster. Holds 13 rounds of .458 SOCOM and .50 Beowulf.

40 round magazine
Excellent magazine can mag. dump All day long with my super safety without any issues..time will tell how they hold up for long term storage. Highly recommend. Also the 50 round magazine works great too

Shorter then PMAG 40
The Tork40 is indeed shorter then the PMAG 40. On paper / measuring, it's only 0.5" shorter. But when installed in the gun, it looks a lot shorter. The Tork40 looks a bit long, whereas the PMAG 40 looks comically long. So far I have only fired 40rd through my Tork40, using a FRT trigger. It functioned 100% reliably. It was however difficult to load the first time, the spring is quite stiff. But I was happy that even when fully loaded to 40rd, it seated just fine on a closed bolt.

Stuck follower
The sight said would be great for 458 socom,That was completely Wrong and even 5.56 would not work because when the follower got about an inch from the top it siezedand I had pulled the rounds out but it would Not return to the top. I did some sanding on the inner wall and finally came up but not all the way and would let the rounds just fall out. I got tired of messing with it so took apart and customized one of my 458 socom followers to fit,changed the springs and have a mag for that now. Socks I paid all that for a housing for a mag and still took a day to get working . Sorry guys ,maybe it was a fluke but this mag was the worst I have seen with quality, with all the scratches on the inside to functional. Can't recommend this product at all for 5.56 or 458 SOCOM. Great new product!
I was somewhat skeptical about the design of these magazines, whether they would be even remotely as reliable and durable as other proven mags on the market. I picked up a couple of the 40 round TORKMAGS to test out. The price was excellent, so I had nothing to lose. These mags performed flawlessly! Over the past month I have put 1000 rounds downrange between the 2 mags. M855, M193, steel case,..... It all fed perfectly, both slow fire and mag dumps. I never had a single magazine related malfunction. I tested them in several rifle makes: LMT, Larue, Daniel Defense, and a CZ Bren. These passed multiple drop tests ranging from 1/4 to full mags without issue in grass, hard packed dirt, and in gravel. I can whole heartedly recommend the TORKMAGS, at least as far as the 40 round mags are concerned. I would expect the 35 and 50 round versions to perform just as well. I plan to order both of those next to test as well. Most importantly, would I trust my life with these mags? I can confidently say that YES I would. These performed as well as or better than any of a dozen or so magazine brands I've tested in a similar fashion. So order these with confidence, you will not be disappointed.
