Simple and affordable
If you are looking to train with the same functionality of your standard ar15 without having to change any features on the rifle and muscle memory, then this is the option for you. I have tried several other 9mm AR adapters and they all change the mag release on your standard lower to a nonfunctional bottom so it can lock your adapter in place. Torkmag 9mm adapter does not utilize the mag release button to lock anything. It's the same function as before. Use it to drop your glock magazines. I have had zero hang ups using this in the 500+ to of 9mm using this adaptor. I can't say it never will but so far so good. This isn't the case with others that I've tried with their overly complicated adapter designs. You train the same way as your would normally without needing to alter any of your routine and muscle memory. The kicker is this adapter costs less than ALL the other 9mm conversion kits on the market.

Great low cost mag adapter for you AR platform! I've purchased 6 or 7 over time and have not been disappointed. My only suggestion is to stick with all metal lowers. I've had OK success with using polymer AR lowers and this product.

Highly recommended!
I bought a PSA 9mm upper and put it on a completed AR lower. This adapter is very simple, very light and functions perfectly. Installs easily with 2 set screws. The beauty of this Magdapt design is that the AR mag release works the same. I changed from the AR buffer weight to a 9mm Extended Buffer AR-15 Carbine 8oz. That was the only other mod to the lower. It will accept Glock style magazines, but you have to notch out the mag release notch unless it is a Torkmag. This method works well with a magazine the has plastic covered steel. Use the guide and a razor blade to mark the plastic. Then take off guide, heat the blade red hot to make nice clean cuts. You can spend more money for a different adapter, but I do not think it will install easier or work better than this one. Highly recommended!
